Triumph TR6 pipes on the Z?

I still want to do a twice pipe system on the car, but with a twist. I was in the junkyard today and to my surprise there was a late 60's TR6, with a pretty solid body, up on top of another car. Tlhe pipes caught my eye right away. It's got dual pipe dual exhaust (4 pipes). The mufflers were swiss cheese, but I just riffed off the pipes anways. I figure I can cut off the pipes and make something sexy out of them for the Z. Has anyone ever run a dual system with with dual tips/pipes like these? For $20 I figure hey why not, didn't wanna leave empty handed.

 

I was thinkind to get a Y junction and weld them up to the cherrybombs I already have sitting on my bench. These look like an old ANSA or Monza, but there's no tips its all pipe (3 feet long with a nice S curve then slash cut ends).
