  1. Simmons 15x9 and 16x11 meant for an rx7. Not sure on offset. Crazy deep lip.
  2. can't go wrong with Moog parts. Get greaseable stuff not that sealed junk
  3. Ive got a line on a complete running diesel Maxima. When I grab it what's worth keeping other than the crank, rear diff, and rear brake set-up? I'll be going L28, tripple webers, hopefully stroker. i've got a 5spd and R200 in the parts pile already
  4. Hey Meph did try the paintshop Matte clear they have now? Was considering doing that over the paintshop silver
  5. Moog is always top notch to me.I got some TRW ones I think. Sitting at the back of my bench somewhere
  6. ive got a set of those mirrors in carbon going on my car
  7. Look at all these Ontario Z's. Can't believe I've never seen them. Nigel I didn't even recognize your car in that pic. It looks awsome. My first 240 was scrap so I've got another I'm waiting to work on. My buddy is going to be redoing the front frame rails for me, just waiting on $. Finally got a big toybox to play with all my toys so the funds are being tied up for that. Oh yeah a house came with it too haha.
  8. Looks pretty sweet. I want a carbon one. Stupid question but do you have to cut up the rear quarters to put ZG style flairs on? If I just wanted them for the asthetics and didn't plan to dump the car on coilover and go with really wide rubber.
  9. New shell in the shop. Oh ya that's the front of the old one sitting on top
  10. Where did you find 4 bolt Welds? I've got a set for my Mustang but those are 4x108.
  11. Is that a 280 airdam? Doesn't have the signal holes. I'm looking to do something similar
  12. I want to make Datsun babies with this car, and I don't even usually like red/orange
  13. I sprayed down my whole twice pipe exhaust for it to sit in storage at my shop and it's fine. Use the WD40. I know a custom hotrod builder who has a couple bare metal cars and he does the same thing. If he stands by it, I know it's good.
  14. Had a '71 but turned out to be a piece of scrap. After a very lengthy hiatus, and with much regret, I chopped the car up tonight. It wasn't saveable. I did keep everything I could unbolt off it though, and much will be used in the new car. It's been 3 years, and I've got nothing to show except a crapload of Z parts. So, I'm going to do build the other car and take pics this time.
  15. I've got a complete L24 and L28. A friend has a an E31 head for me at a good price. Is it worth swapping it on? I'll be using tripple webbers, header and twicepipes, and hopefully a mild Crane cam I found (if the machine shop can clean it up enough). Trying to get the most power out of what I've got to work with. Car will be a weekend toy.
  16. nice. How'd you find that for 2K in Toronto? I live near you and I'm always checking the ads and forums daily and never saw that thing come up anywhere.
  17. McKinney Motorsports has polly motor mounts for Z's. They've got all the polly swap parts, as well as poly L series mounts.
  18. Looks like the Kamei one i've got sitting up on the shelf. Very flexy/flimsy. The one I have goes over the stock one.
  19. My '71 240 is beyond repair. Looking for a 240 or early 260 shell in Ontario, Canada. Please let me know what you've got. Btw, budget is limited so not looking for someone's gorgeous restored ride (If I only had the $). Thanks. Sean sean_doman@hotmail.com
  20. even the engine bay and headlight scoops were done with a roller? I've never seen it lay out that smooth before. Looks great. what are you using for clear? what method to apply?
  21. Nice car, surprised I've never seen it around town.
  22. Is that the "aluminium colour"? I find with parts i sprayed in that colour that the metallic rubs off. So you just rolled this stuff on? Looks good.
  23. Yeah they're APR's. I have the same thing, in the nice velvet box, waiting till the day the car gets done and is painted. I looked everywhere for them but noone had them. Then one day, BAM stole them brand new for $150 from a guy who got them for a customer that was a no show. On another note, those XXR's are so damn sexy on these cars. Can't wait to get mine mounted.
