Guest Pegasus76
I have an 1985 nissan 300ZX and I was in a hurry to get somewhere and connected my battery WRONG. Pos. wire to neg. neg. wire to pos. I believe I fried something but the fuses underneath the steering wheel are fine. What should I look for in the fusible links? Headlights turn on by the motors do not work, Wipers do not work, Radio does not work, turning signal, etc. What is the problem someone help! DavyZ
Not sure if you fried the ecu, but it is possible. Davy
Tony240ZT
Been a while since I've owned a 300ZX, but I think the fuseable links are near the battery, next to some relays. Anyways, make sure that current can flow through them, also there might be a fuseable link at the starter, but could be wrong. Hope it's something simple to fix, 300ZX's have enough electrical problems inherantly to begin with I'm sure you're not the first person to do this so hopefully someone else will speak up. Fill us in after you get it fixed.
Lockjaw
I would think a fuseable link, or some big fuse somewhere. That would be a simple thing to anticipate someone doing. Usually fusable links burn thru. Good luck.
