Two80z4me Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 Inside of my 78 280z there is a stamp that reads 8/77. like its one of 77 special models? Ive noticed that it seems different than other 78's ive been around at shows and race events.. the hood has more of a point, and it has other attributes that seem to be odd. The body almost looks like its the length of a 2+2 with a regular hatch... I believe Im loosing my marbles. The stamp just got me wondering, so if someone could help, it'd be great. OK, I was used to Vr4 Galants and 3000gts with the model number stamp out of 1000 there, never occured that would be august 1977, so my car is really a 77? or is that when it was built and sent for the 78 shipment?
