Fixing my Heater!

after about an hour of tearing up the dash and stuff, i finally heard the fan come on for the first time!!! lol.. Last night here in fresno, it was super cold and this morning everything was frosted over.. so i decided that maybe i should fix my heater.:icon54:. anyways, i find that my heater DOES work, only when i directly gave it power.. other than that, i connected a test light to one of the wires and found that when i turn on the fan switch, the test light lights up but as you go towards HIGH, it dims down til there isnt any light left..

well.. yup, thought i might share alittle with you guys.. not too sure what it is but i think it has to do with the switch, so I plan on visiting some junk yards for it. the hoses doesnt seem to have any cracks or anything aswell. let me know what you guys think.. I can really use some advice.

I had this problem too, my fan had everything else but high, My problem was that the switch and the groves of the lever had slipped one forward making it so I didn't have High. All I had to do was get the switch to zero then the groves on the lever the part with the handle to match up. It can slip sometimes if you press down on the handle or move it to fast.

And by the way this was on a 75 280z.
