jays280zx
Ok guys, The parents want to throw down with me on a graduation present. I have a '79 280zx, but they want me to get something more reliable for college (in addition to the Z). I found a great deal on a 1999 camaro ss, with the ls1 and t56. It however had the EGR and catalytic converters removed. . . Will this car still pass emissions testing? I wouldn't want to buy a car and not be able to drive it Thanks Edited December 13, 2009 by jays280zx misspelling
stravi757
You need the EGR to pass smog. If the guy notices you don't have a cat you also wont be able to pass.
