Mudge
I found this diy flowbench forum a while ago and i am now almost half done assembling my own. Its fairly cheap to build and accurate at measuring heads, carbs or whatever. I spent $160 on mine but i didnt get the motors yet. Im probably going to use used vacume motors from old vacumes so they will be cheap. The first link is to a copy of an old popular hot rodding mag where thay show you how to make and use a flowbench. You may have to save the pics onto your computer so you can zoom in on it and read it better. http://www.spiritone.com/~eoa/Cars/.../Flow_Bench.htm This second link is what i believe is the only diy flowbench forum. if you dont understand how something works (most likley the inclined manometer) thereare posts explaining how they work. http://www.flowdyno.homeip.net:81/default.asp and check out my flowbench in progress http://www.flowdyno.homeip.net:81/t...VE=&TOPIC_ID=49 From a CamaroZ28.com post. Guest JAMIE T
Thanks for the link. I was talking to a buddy of mine about the Popular Hotrodding article a couple of days ago(that link did not work for me BTW). We were talking about building a flow bench. Mudge
I've got the Zip files if you'd like them, which has the JPGs of the article in question.
