TurboSE
Yeah, if you found a a good deal on the JUN, jump on it. It is the most important piece.. IMO.. of the RB26 puzzle. Other than getting the oil back to the pan... but that's a whole different problem in itself. $1100 shipped for a JUN...good deal? As for returning it to the pan, I'm running a Tomei restrictor and an 8AN rear head drain

Great setup... I would go with the JUN at that price. Sounds like you've got the setup figured out!
TurboSE
I seem to recall a post somewhere that gave flow rates on all the major pumps (Tomei JUN HKS etc) but for the life of me, I can't find it...any ideas?
kiwi303
http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Told-Vl-Turbo-Oil-Pump-t263895.html Interesting pics 2/3rds of the way down the 1st page. I went and opened my RD28 pump, the RD28 uses a VL/RB30 style gear set, but my vernier calipers measure it as 14.7mm rather than 11mm. the actual mating surface betweeb pump gear and cranksaft is only 5mm thick however. Pics coming later if anyone wants them just for comparison to the RB ones.
rb_darryl
there is a member on NICO who had his N1 pump fail him. he was making close to 800whp i believe.
rk2334
I heard external oil pump much better than internal one.
RB-Z
A dry sump setup? Of course it is better but it is also 3-4 times more expensive than a nice aftermarket pump. Its also over kill for 95% of the cars on here. I heard external oil pump much better than internal one.
