cockerstar
Bought this on black friday for $150, and I'll have to say it was probably the best value I've come across. It has most of what you'll use all of the time, and I picked it up as my "second" set of tools, even though my primary set was made of a hodge podge of quality. It really is nice having everything in one unit with the pull-out trays that you can take wherever you need to work on your car http://www.craftsman.com/shc/s/p_10155_12602_00936260000P?keyword=mechanics+tool+set
bschiltz
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Sounds like I'll just go to a couple places and check out prices/ selection. I have Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. all local so I'll check them out. As far as the "tool trucks" I know they're in town, but if you don't work at a dealership or shop is there any way you can contact them? thrustnut
Do you have any friends in the automotive industry where you live? The best thing would be to find out what day and time the dealer will be at a shop near you. I know our Mac and Matco guys make a special stop for my shift (we work nights at the local airport) but they won't make any special stops at my house or anything like that unless they are droping of a tool box or somthing.
