Guest Drewz
Contact you local bodyshop or bodyshop supplier and ask the about a structural adhesive. This is what most new cars are assembled with at the factory. ------------------ Drewz
SpeedRacer
Al, you might want to give John Washington over at VR Engineering http://www.reactionresearch.com/automotive.html a call since he has been bonding his fiberglass kits to Z cars for many years. Sorry, I got a gallon of the stuff with my kit but I can't remember the name.
Guest Drewz
I talked to the shop manager at the GM dealership by my shop and he suggests using windsheild urethane. Now in my case I am bonding a whale tail to my rear deck because a tub of lard customer of mine decided it look like a good place to sit!!!! MORON! This is a small job and it is waterproof and almost permanent.Hope this helps. ------------------ Drewz
Al Keller
I'm getting ready to bond the fiberglass GTU style quarter panels on my Z. Before I do, can you guys suggest the best adhesive and proper procedure to use? Thank you, Al
