enix187
Im asking this question for a friend, 78 280z, just rescued from rotting in a lot, we were told it was running and driving before it was parked. The rear wheels are locked, whats weird is that when you drag it forward only the right rear is locked, and when you drag it backwards both are locked. Just curious what this sounds like to anyone. Eddie-G-Force
Check the rear brakes. Enix187, How long was it parked? I've bought seven or eight 280z's over the years that have been sitting under trees or in a field for years, and the brake shoes were frozen to the drums. Another car had the fiction material sheared off (fell off) the metal backing and it would jam locking in one direction only. Just a thought. enix187
he was guessing that, I'll see what he figures out tomorrow
lubu
Check the rear brakes. Maynot be the case since the right wheel moves when it's dragged forward. I would check the diff, if necessary unbolt the uni-joints and see if the wheels move.
