mrtaquito85 Posted February 2, 2010 Share Posted February 2, 2010 From my research, there are two different types of starters for the 280zx, a Mitsubishi type and a Hitachi type. I'm looking for the hitachi type. The best way to distinguish one from the other is looking at the starter where the output gear is located. If there are 3 Philips head screws, then that is the Mitsubishi type.
