Guest Anonymous
Has anybody chopped a Zcar? I have seen it done in a paint and body book but never seen it up close

DavyZ
Although I have never chopped the top on a Z, I have seen one up close: it looked so good, it makes one believe the car came that way. The guy who owned the car said that he and a friend chopped the top--it was obvious they were either REALLY good and/or used a kit. VR ENGINEERING/REACTION RESEARCH has a kit for this. Some of the kits I have read about in the past use an MG top which is proven (I'm not sure if that's good or bad?). Hope this helps. Owen
You mean chop top or chopped off the top? (I'm under the impression that a chop top is where the roof was made to sit lower than stock) For chopped off top, see Mad Man's transformation. It's an open top Z. http://www.homestead.com/s30z/files/otherv8z.htm Owen ------------------ http://www.homestead.com/s30z/index.html
Guest Anonymous
I'm talking about chop top not convertible .Like I said in evil knievel datsun I have seen it done but I am wondering about the side glass and the windshield they had to use plastic for the sides and cut the windshield down (that looked very hard!! ) the back was left intact I would share pictures with anyone interested.
