zcrazy Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 I have a 77 280z with a 82 zx n/a motor. I had to replace the coil and bought a pertronix flamethrower. The coil is said to work without a ballast resistor so i removed it. I wired everything according to this website http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/distributor/index.html.
