I have a 77 280z with a 82 zx n/a motor. I had to replace the coil and bought a pertronix flamethrower. The coil is said to work without a ballast resistor so i removed it. I wired everything according to this website http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/distributor/index.html. I have done everything possible but have no spark. Any ideas or sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

i used the ECU from my 77 for the 82 ZX motor i got... only thing i had to fix was the distributor connection.... but u should be fine with the 280Z ECU.

Just an L28E. Almost have it ready to run!!
