MONGO510
I have done several searchs and have found very little info on the Megajolt lite ignition system. I found nothing on its use on a SBC. Has anyone done this? I quess the MS system is about the same. Should I just use data from that system I am curious about their trigger wheel mount and timing map. MONGO510
I have figured out all the previous questions but have another. Will the late 260 tach work with megajolt? What do I need to do to make it work? Thanks for any info. Mongo

The Megajolt system uses a wasted spark EDIS coil pack, so unfortunately you can't just connect the tacho the same way as with a single ignition coil. Either you convert the 260Z tacho by removing/modifying the incoming signal filter on the tacho PCB, so it accepts the +12V square wave tacho signal supplied by the Megajolt box, or you could use a tacho adapter such as the MSD 8920, which is wired inbetween the Megjolt tacho out and the tach's input wire. Geking
or you can use the diagram at the bottom of this page. It works with datsun 3 wire tachs. http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/EDIS.htm

For the SBC you need to tap all four coils, the chart only shows two coils as example.
