fl327
what davy said, kinda, i just sanded and cleaned mine really smoothly, and used rustoleum flat black spray paint, took me a day to prep and leave out in the sun to dry, and by nightime i was rockin the freeworld! you can go with silver, any silver will work well, my preference is with rustoleum aluminum-its kinda dull and dries smoother than chrome, i like black for that area, just paying homeage to my 67camaro heart transplant!!! oh, and if you want to fresh up the tailight covers while youre at it, use testor hobby paint-transparent candy apple red, or transparent metallic red, that will give you some sparkle and cleaness! DavyZ
I think his rear panel is just painted using a satin finish silver paint. The method used is just rudimentary body work--clean with good solvent (for the purpose of paint prep), sand with 400 grit or a little coarser grit, clean again with solvent, let dry and shoot it with your desired color. Am I reading/understanding your question correctly? David
