tyson
Has anyone used one of MotorSportAuto's bolt in 6 point roll cage? I am interested in it for my 78Z for looks and functionality on the track. If anyone could please tell me how well it fit, if I have to remove any items to use it (door skins). And how well it looks. Guest Anonymous
Tyson -- I can't speak for the MSA unit, but my Kirk Racing Products cage fit well ( a little custom bend here and there for a better fit), looks good, and (hope I never test this) could save my life if I ever get upside-down at 100+. Call Mark or Julie Stewart at 205-823-6025, tell 'em I sent ya.
pparaska
If it bolts to the wheel houses only, forget it. Those are like paper and unsupported in that area. Go with a S&W or Allison kit.
Guest JAMIE T
I have an Autopower cage in my 240Z, its a tight fitting cage. It was a bolt in cage that was welded in. It does attach to the wheel housings, but I just got in the 1 5/8" DOM tubing to add to the roll cage. I will add some down tubes from the hoop to the rear of the car. pparaska
Jamie, cool, sounds like the same thing that Mike Kelly did. His was one the inner fenders but he's certainly changed it since then!
