Blown77Z
Hey all. I've been slowly gathering the necessary items for my front brake upgrade in the near future. I will purchase the actual brake kit once I finish the paint job on the Z, Brake kit will be this one: Silver Mine Motors However, I do have some goodies already purchased and put together. 79-81 280xz MC from Oreillys It's Acardone part# 11-1837 ACardone I also purchased a full reservoir set and proportioning valve from Wilwood. Completed assembly Can't wait to put it together in the next few months
hoov100
If you wanna go a step further, why not make your own brake lines? speedwaymotors sells a dIY kit for $100 with just about everything you need.

Blown77Z
What rear calipers does Silvermine use, all their add says is 500hp stock calipers so I guess its a secret. Quoted from: Bajaracer's Thread This rear kit uses the stock calipers, pads and rotors from a Mustang gt500. The calipers are in the same position that ford designed them to be, on the gt500. We have simply put them on a z car in the same position with a custom bracket. Edited March 31, 2010 by Blown77Z
