Guest Anonymous
Would anyone in here be so kind to measure the voltage and amperage comming out of the seat controller in a 90+ 300zx. I got some seat that I'm installing into my 72 240 but the driver seat is missing the controller for the motors. I call NISSAN and they want $200+ for a stupid controller that turns the motor clockwise or counter. They also didn't no how to measure the voltage or the amperage for me. I ain't paying that price for a switch. Help me out with that information and I will make my own switch with radio shack stuff for $10. Thanks,
Andrew Bayley
Most of the GM seat controllers we supply have motors spec.'d out at 30A. Under normal lab conditions, we typically see 10 - 15A with an occasional spike upwards into the low 20's. Hope this helps. -Andy

Andrew Bayley
No prob, It's too bad you don't want a big-ass-heavy GM seat. My department is doing the controller for a "high line" 12 way adjustable seat with four memory locations and heated butt and back rests. All I need to do is figure out how I can sneak one out, crammed inside my breifcase -Andy
