Delasangre4231 Posted April 29, 2010 Share Posted April 29, 2010 (edited) Anyone have 225/45/17 or 235/45/17's on 17x7 rims? I am looking at a these sizes for a staggered set but it looks like 7 wides are barely just enough wheel for these. Will they be ok? Will they look weird? I have seen a few 205/50/17's on the 7 wide wheels but thats narrower than stock so ya... Edit: I meant 7.5 inch wide... Besides I think 235-45 are too tall a tire in the front of a stock body car, they will rub the front and back of the wheel opening when you turn. The 225's barely cleared when I had them on.
