owner66
I removed the steering rack assy today to rebuild it. Looks like it is in great shape EXCEPT the tube-end bushings. The driver's side has ALOT of play. I have looked and looked and the closest I can find are the ones at Black Dragon for a 240z (part # 62-213). So, does anyone have any info on: Where to find new ones for a 280z rack. If it's possible to get the 240z and use them. Are the ID, OD and length the same? Is it possible to use another material like Delrin etc to make new ones? I have thought about a reman, but trying to keep cost down, and not sure about quality. After all, where would THEY get the bushings anyways? + Thanks, DS
owner66
I found a place locally that has the passenger's side, but the driver's side is not made. Anyone have any info on the dimensions of the ones in the 240 vs the 280 racks?
