Wanted: Rear Lower Control Arm

So the rear differential is being taken apart and it was noticed that the rear control arm on the driver side is actually from the passenger side, but upside down. So, I'm looking for the rear driver side control arm. Cheers

I don't think it would work at all if it had been changed. People sometimes think that because each side looks different but thats the way it is from factory. Take some pictures for us so we can see, it may just be a misunderstanding.

 

Edit: If your talking about the part that the sway bar end links attach too, the flat piece of metal that it attaches too is supposed to have one on top and one on the bottom.

 

On the driver side the "flat piece" is on top and the passenger side the "flat piece" is on the bottom.

Yup. It's supposed to be that way.

Yeah no need to worry. The control arm is right I compared it to the 280z something else is out of whack making the alignment out 1/2 inch

I'm pretty sure they just look that way. I think they are factory interchangeable? Both my z's (72 and a 77) they look to be the same but just flipped.
