MrJJ
My son and I put a 350 Chevy in a 84 300Z. Got some photos of build if interested. We race at local drag strip and the rear drops hard on launch. Put 88 suspension in, KYB shocks, car feel real stiff until we launch it. Any good ideas on how to keep rear up? . Running auto trans with 2500 stall. Chaparral2f
What John said. Stiff shocks will help, but it will still squat hard. IMO, this is because Z31 stock semi trailing arm suspension sucks.

Would like to see how you did yours, squat wasnt too bad with street tires but traction sucked, slicks made a big difference but we lose a bit of 60 foot time squatting down. Chaparral2f
Here is what I did, because I didn't like the way semi trailing susp changes camber, and the squat really drove me up the wall. I wouldn't suggest this unless you are completly nuts. If I was going drag racing I'd probably go to a solid rear end.

Maybe the rolling start makes for a better show.We run 13s in the 1/4 top speed have no idea, never get to high gear. Any good part numbers for stiffer shocks or springs? we
