Guest Anonymous
I've seen the fine plans and pictures on Pete's site for the body rotisserie and it loks like a pretty easy build. There's just one thing that is completely obvious to me....how do you get the car up on the rack? I'm thinking that even with everything out of the body, it's still going to be pretty tough just lifting it up and bolting it to the crossbeam, and I don't see any jacking mechanism involved in te design, so what's the answer? (I'm really putting a lot of faith in the tag line "The only stupid question is the one you don't ask") Thanks a bunch Mark Twyman Las Vegas 71 240z
jimzdat
For mine (pics are at the website--click the link below) I used an engine hoist to pick up the entire shell (yes, it will work if you use the right straps and chains) then attached everything to the car, set up the end pieces, and was done
Tim240z
For mine I just picked up the front end..attached it to the rotis., then did the same for the rear. With nothing in the car, it is very light. Tim
