Wagz
Looks like the car is coming together nicely. Gonna be a cool ride. I'm planning a Velo Rossa conversion after the V8 install, subframe connectors and the suspension and brake upgrade. One question: is that a Stable Autoworks or Thunder Ranch front end? I thought the Velo Rossa was a full-tilt front end only. Keep us posted on your progress!
Guest Anonymous
Your problem fender gap may be solved by bonding a piece of wide lumber metal lumber strapping to the inside of the fender and then laying fiber glass cloth and resin onto the top of the metal strapping to shorten and fill the gap. The strapping can be found in the scrap bins of the local lumber mills. The strap is very pliable with high tensile strength for this type of application. This area or gap is critical since the door and fender can rub together on opening and closing if the gap is too close.E-mail me I want to see your dream. Guest nezzie76
Actually it's a McBurnie front end from Thunder Ranch in San Diego.
