mikedunfee
My Father has a 1972 240 z that has been modified a bit, it has a 350 motor in it and a corvette rear end. The rear end was junk, so we got another one to replace it. The problem is I removed the rear end a few months ago, and now as I'm putting it back together I cannot for the life of me remember if the crossmember back there went underneath the mounting insulator of the diff, or on top of it. It doesn't make sense for it to go on top of it because of the sides, yet putting it under seems to require a whole lot of force to get up there making me curious about how this affects the pitch of the shaft. So does anyone out there have a z car with a corvette rear end?
