josh817
Got an offer to flag the Lemons race at ECR this weekend and the email reads: Hello Workers, PLEASE READ This is a reminder that you have signed on to work the 24 Hours of Lemons at ECR. We have a lot of information to give you including schedule, rules, and suggestions. Pay is $100/day plus an additional $10/day for lunch (total of $110/day).We understand there will be a corner station decoration contest. We don't have much more information than that on decorating. *You will need to bring your own lunch both days. *Bring your own ice chest. ECR will provide plenty of water, but you will need to take it to the station with you. *We suggest you bring a hand held mister spray bottle and maybe a towel or cloth to wet down to help you cool off. *Please bring a chair. You will need to take turns sitting. (There are two workers per station.) *Drivers are allowed to bribe tech judges and CORNER WORKERS. I understand this includes favorite beverages, t-shirts, etc. Charlie has asked that you provide a list of your favorite beverages and shirt sizes and other items you might be willing to accept as a bribe. (Drivers may want to bribe you to look the other way when they commit an infraction.) Bribes are allowed. SATURDAY: Corner worker meeting at 8:30AM. Workers will be trucked out to their stations. No worker will take his/her car out on the station. Once workers are delivered to their stations, they will not be picked up until around 8PM (except for emergencies). We expect cars on track from 10AM to 8PM (no scheduled breaks). SUNDAY: Corner worker meeting at 8:30AM. Workers will be trucked out to their stations.
