240zBoy
I am undergoing the JTR Swap and hit a stump when I went on an adventure to find the chrysler oil pressure switch (If that is what they call it, or fuel relay I don't know). Went to schucks and NAPA and they did not know what I was asking for so I am looking online and still stumped. I searched everywhere including this forum. If anyone ordered this part online it would be awesome if I could get a link. Also if anyone has an alternative to buying that $21 water temp housing bolt from JTR it would be great cause that price is just stupid and those little items really break the bank. Yeah, I do have an alternative to spending $21.00 to purchase the JTR temp housing bushing: buy the JTR Datsun/Chevrolet Conversion Manual for about $30.00, available at JEGS and other places. Read it. On or about page 3-10 you will see a drawing and instructions on how to modify a common brass pipe bushing. You could do it yourself or pay a machinist $30.00 and have it done. If you google "fuel pump safety switch" you will find a number of places that sell these switches: it does not have to be Chrysler. Look here for Jeg's site. 240zBoy
I already own the JTR book but I was able to find it when using fuel safety cut off switch instead of oil pressure switch. I need to get that book back from my buddy to make that housing cause well.. it just doesn't seem right spending that much on a little piece of metal.
