corolla turbo Posted June 20, 2010 Share Posted June 20, 2010 hi, i got an 280ZX 2+2 restoration. Next weeks my car wents to painting. Before paintwork is done, i have to be shure what outer mirrors i have to use. I got 3 different kinds of it. first is an electric one out of plastic, its a litlte bi cubic. googled showed most zx have these once.doesnt realy fit in the holes at my doors second is manual one, gots round mirror and looks like a kind of drop. this one will fit fine, but coulndt find pic or informations about the last one is an chromed metal one but i habe du weld old holes and have to drill new holes in my doors. can anyone explain? my car hav NO electric mirros. what kind of mirror is OEM? thx,Jan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BleachZee Posted June 21, 2010 Share Posted June 21, 2010 The plastic power mirror is the OEM type. Even if your 280ZX had no power mirror, the mirror housing will look the same. corolla turbo Posted June 22, 2010 Author Share Posted June 22, 2010 what i dont understand, i got two left doors. and both have the holes for these "drop" mirrors. the OEM plastic mirror doesnt fit in these holes.
