k1evo2 Posted July 10, 2010 Share Posted July 10, 2010 well i have l28et i was working on swapping. this is the first swap ive done. but anyway, was looking over the motor and came across look at the turbo.now it looks like something got in it and chewed up all the blades. but at the same time it looks like maybe it machined that way. lil unsure and was hoping the Z-forum world could me a hand. am i going crazy or is this the way its suppose to look? now i can certainly try to get more pics as requested. S130Z Posted July 10, 2010 Share Posted July 10, 2010 That is NOT supposed to look like that! Time for a new turbo! While your at it, get a bigger turbo, and got with a MegaSquirt ECU. But if you dont feel comfortable doing that, I would highly recomend a new turbo. I would also tear down the engine and check for internal damage. Just curious, where do you live?
