z2go
In the process of test fitting the MSA type III front bumper/air dam (1st gen), I'm having trouble figuring out if I will need to trim the inside corner down to make clearance for when the wheels turn inward. The are of concern is the front of the wheel well, where the kit curves back inward to complete the curve of the stock well. Has anyone had any trouble with this, and is trimming of the inside bottom of the air dam's well necessary? My car is stripped currently, so I cannot get the struts compressed fully to see where it will sit in the wheel well. Right now, the car is at least 6 inches higher than ride height, and because of the angles, hits the edge of the air dam when the wheel is turned inward. GOTHALOSISM
It did on mine as well so I ended up trimming it.
zedrum
Same here, but the type 2 kit. I had to trim the inside bottom of the wheelwell lip back.
RIP260Z
My type 2 one from MSA needed trimming also.
