Jookie22
I just bought a 1983 280zx, it tends to run hot on the highway and in traffic, I changed out the fluids, checked the the Fan clutch, switched out the thermostat and it still creeps up and runs hot. Any suggestions ?
roger.svoboda
depends on what you call running hot. Not a very technical descriptiion. If you are depending on the stock gage to give you an answer DON'T. notoriously unreliable. get hold of a infrared temp gun and see what temp the coolant is running at. Thanks for the quick response , It never boils over, but I have to use the defroster on hot to bring the temp down a bit. my cousin has a infrared temp gun, Thanks for the tip on that !
