HELP, seat belt delemma

I'm looking for the right seat belts for my car. I own an early 75 280z. The car didn't come with seat belts when I purchesed it. I've pulled some seat belts out of a 77 (I think) from a pick n pull. The upper seat belt mount dosn't seam to line up correctly. The belts were attached to the rear shock towers in the car I removed them from. They looked the same as the ones I've seen in pictures but they don’t seem to work.

The holes on the seat belt don't line up with the ones on the car.

Am i missing a bracket or do i have the wrong seat belts???

I think you need different seat belts, I'm not 100% sure about the coupe seat belts but I know there were differences from my 75' 2+2 from my 76' 2+2 concerning seat belts.

Do yours also mount on the shock towers? They seem to work only in the orientation for which they are designed. I wanted 3-point so I got zx belts for my 240 and they wouldn't unlock in the vertical position.

use the C-pillar mounted belts.

 

I don't know if you can mount the strut mounted on the c-pillars.

I have the strut belts on my c pillars but I don't recommend it. There on tehre good and tight but not really ideal. It will function though

I could use the one large bolt to hold the top mount onto the C-pillar (like Meph did) but it doesn't sit very well and I don't like it. Does anybody have an extra pair of the correct seat belts that i could buy???
