noobie
I'm very new to car stuff and just got a 280z. I'm young and need advice. i just did a compression ratio on the car and all cylinders were between 140 and 145. Is this a normal range? Also the car seems to be running a little rich. I'm going to try and clean the fuel injectors with a treatment. Is there any recommendations of one that has worked for you? I was thinking of using seafoam. Meph
sounds about average, new engine should be around 170+ consider rebuilding below 130. Did you have the throttle wide open during testing?
noobie
No it wasn't wide open. I think the car has about 178k so I guess it's not too bad. I just recently picked up the car because th body is pretty straight.
