    EGR header?

I bought a header for my 1977 280z. There is no connection for the egr it appears. Can I remove the egr or do I need to get a different header or air intake? I tried looking for this info but could not find it. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

  3. I'm not trying to buy them for my Z, but just was wondering lol. Thanks for the input!
  4. I apologize if this comes up twice, but my other post did not show. I'm doing my first headgasket replacement and I'm trying to remove the air intake and exhaust manifold. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I need to remove the fuel injectors off my L28 in order to remove the air intake from the head, and how many bolts are on the under side of the exhaust manifold? Thank you
  5. Does anyone have any pictures with Rota slipstreams on a z car? I know some spacers are probably needed but I have always wondered what it would look like. http://www.steveandlee.com/galleries/miata/paint/paint_7weeks_4.jpg
  6. I'm currently doing a head gasket replacement and shaving the head but once money allows, I'm going to put on some flares, a new air dam I have sitting around, and the BRE spoiler.
  7. Okay thanks for the tips!
  8. The original idea was to swap the engines and rebuild the original for a little more performance as time and money allowed in the future. I've been trying to find a forum for advice on the removal and assembly of the head since it will be my first one. Any tips?
  9. Due to a freak accident I had a couple weeks ago, my head gasket is now blown. I picked up a spare L28 without the fuel injection for a really good price and was just going to swap the engines as I have heard it's easier to do that than to replace the head gasket. I'm not sure if my current engine has a warped head or not, but the head of the engine I just purchased is in a good shape and it only has 85,000 miles. I have not seen the engine run, I just have the seller's word. My current engine has a good bottom end. Should I swap the engines, or should I just swap the heads? Thank you
  10. I've been told that these are Epsilons but I wanted to get some opinions. Got them at a swap meet for a good deal.
  11. They look super good. I just wish I could find some sample pics on a z lol
