75zcar
I just mounted my flares the other day and the american racing 14's I have arent going to cut it. I had some 18's from another car and I set the in the fender wells flush with the flares and fell in love. It did look like a little less tire then I would like so I decided a 17 is what I want. Im on a bit of a budget for wheels (ole lady) So I was looking at getting this combination one of these wheels: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-RIM-WHEELS-5-LUG-ACCORD-CELICA-ECLIPSE-NEON-CIVIC-TC-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem563fd550ffQQitemZ370438131967QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories or http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-WHEEL-RIM-5X114-3-TALON-ECLIPSE-ACCORD-TL-CL-S2000-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4cf2073081QQitemZ330478071937QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories In compliance with these adapters: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-LUG-5-LUG-ADAPTER-KIT-4x108-114-3mm-TO-5x114-3mm-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem43a1d36dfcQQitemZ290477796860QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Would this combination put me close to the edge of the fender flares? Thanks for your help! I have a stock suspension and will be cutting coils to lower a little once wheels are found. cockerstar
I'm running similar spacers, with a similar offset on my wheels, and they'll probably clear stock fenders when I roll them. I'm going to guess that you'll need a more negative offset. It's the backspacing and wheel width that play a big role. How much additional clearance do you get with your specific flare? Assuming the typical 2-2.5" I would look for something with a 0 to -10 offset for a 7 inch wide wheel. Search on wheel fitment with flares.
