bumble zee
My brother has a RB25DET with a series 2 wire harness and has developed a miss when initially getting into boost. After a few misses it runs like a raped ape. I cant hear any ticking under the hood. His boost pressure is sitting at 7 to 8psi. His tach isnt hooked up yet so I dont know the RPM's. He had a mechanic friend look at it and he said the o2 sensor looks to be bad. It shows .02 volts before boost, then after it drops to 0. If he disconnects the o2 he said it runs a little better but still has the miss. It isnt anything intrusive. Nothing like a shutter that I get from time to time in my Turbo 240z. bumble zee
Coil packs are breaking down. That is interesting since his coil packs are cracked and silicone is a temp fix so he can drive his car while saving for new coil packs. mario_82_ZXT
Does he have a consult port? I had a similar issue in an SR20DET. It was the MAF maxing out and dumping a bunch of fuel at torque peak.
