Guest Anonymous
My car was stolen recently. I got it back and luckily the only damage was that they side swiped something in the rear. Will any body repair people please let me know what they believe would be the best way to repair this damage. Thanks Alot.
Guest Anonymous
Seattle Z, you just cannot take body work lessons without some hands on experience. Your damage is not major but labor intensive requiring body hammer and dollies plus a slide hammer dent puller and some good body putty to cover it up followed by sand paper. I could make a passable repair but I cannot tell you how, only show you. Read a book on it and start pounding.
Dp351zcar
Hi seattlezcar welcome to this group, wow a local guy. Was it only a sideswipe as it it looks like there is maybe a backcorner pushed in. In the middle picture it looks like the panel is buckled and that would complicate things a lot. If not the metal will need to be shrunk and moved around alot. Shouldn't be too hard a repair to do, too bad I am starting a new job tomorrow after spending the last half of the sumer laid off. I'm with Tomahawk in thinking that it is hard to explain but there are some great people on this board that should be able to spell it out for you. Good luck.
