noobie
Does anyone have any pictures with Rota slipstreams on a z car? I know some spacers are probably needed but I have always wondered what it would look like. http://www.steveandlee.com/galleries/miata/paint/paint_7weeks_4.jpg
19762802+2
I took a look at the specs for rota slip streams and all of them have way to much positive offset to be able to work with a Z safely at least on stock suspension. Even with spacers on stock suspension (which would have to be pretty big anyways) I wouldn't trust them. Most of those wheels in the lug pattern you would need for a Z the backspacing is around 5-6+" for a S30 you need about 4.5", It might be possible to run coilovers and make them fit, but it would be much easier to find a set of wheels that look similar but fit better as well. Snailed
The wheels they are a copy of, Desmond RegaMasters, come in RWD offsets and wider sizes with diameters up to 17" and some special edition ones went up to 18 x 10.5. Probably all of them will need spacers on an S30 anyway. And of course they are at the other end of the price spectrum being a forged wheel. The Spoon SW888 are the same thing too but I think they are more FWD fitmets.
