mrcj280z Posted March 16, 2011 Share Posted March 16, 2011 ok to start its a 77 280z when i got it the fuel pump was wired to the fuse box via a home extension cord it did run but yea this was a red flag i was in for some big time wiring problems. i am tring to put his all back to right and need some help. i have looked at wiring diagrams and it says it goes to the relay makes sense but where the heck is it. I cant find this green and blue wire can some one please point this out to me. Also it had a house electrical socket with wires jammed for a ballast as you can quess it dont work now and i cant find a ballast resister anywere to replace and a buddy said to put it straight to the coil do i do both wires or just the one power. and sorry to keep ranting off questions but would a msd 6al or crane hi-6 boxes eliminate the need for the datsuns transisterized ignition system box? please help me out i am tried off looking at it and am selling my cbr 900rr for more cash for this build thank you for your time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think I scared everyone off with this post. And MSD are kinda slow when it comes to Z cars search MSD 8920 and don't even call them.
