seattlejester Posted January 9, 2015 Share Posted January 9, 2015 You are referring to the stamp on the differential casing such as 11080? I think it is just a manufacturing stamp. The for sure method is to take the back cover off and take the information off of the ring gear to determine the identity. You can generally determine the identity (R160, R180, R200) based off of the physical size of the casing, that will correlate to how much hp it will be able to hold.
