As rear cross member mounting question

Recommended Posts

So ive recently replaced the rear main cross member bushings, but when I re-installed the crossmember back into the car there was a gap between the cross member and the disc like plate that goes between the shell and the bushing. the center cylinder in the bushing for the main bolt is tight to the car, the main pins are installed the right way, and nuts are tight.

Can anybody confirm this is correct? The gap is a solid 3/8"  My pictures from pre-removal dont quite capture this spot. The new bushings are Nissan oem items, and pushed in the correct way.
