base of intake manifold runner

OlderThanMe

Here is a base of an intake manifold runner in the above intake.

Still working with it a little bit. I would like to get more of a knife edge on where the runner divides into the two seperate runners for each cylinder.

Once again I can not answer or look at anything that comes through the PM system while I am at school. Just ask here with a comment if you have a question.

I am coming up with a revision on this intake runner base that should be a lot more aerodynamic. I'm still learning with different methods for designing the center splitter in SolidWorks. I'm also looking at designing a completely different "VARIABLE length intake runner" manifold that should be very good for running N/A.Check out the Formula SAE teams for their very interesting variable intake manifold designs.OTM

Dan it's looking really good! by the way, I have my very own copy of Adobe Illustrator now, so if you've got any more ideas for your logo i'll be able to do it for you.

Sweet Max! I have been coming up with a couple designs for that logo... I'll try to upload some here soon.I'd like to figure out the VVT to see if it can be controlled. I'd like to run this motor N/A and make around 320-350hp and maybe I'll add a shot of juice.(stock under-rated hp is 278) I'd like to make some headers that look like the new BMW "M" 4.0 V8 headers. I'll just make one with some aproximate measurements and then correct them to exact when I get home. I must get back to my Calculus and Chemistry homework! Later y'all!OTM
