Yes go to www.wrongmotor.com and you will see some sweet RX-7s. Although they are not 3rd gen they are the 2nd gen. That guy over there stuffs LT and LS1s in them, hes got some cool videos over there too. Maybe they will give you an idea?

Thanks Racer, you really know your paint stuff, I think I am going to stick with the brightest arrest me red I can find that is just a color, and is in single stage, thanks!
-
Went and got some PPG color books today, my god there are so many colors!!! I am curious if the pearls do well in single stage or is just the basic color the only thing offered in single stage???
-
Racer X and guys thanks for the tons of info!!! I am just gonna spend the extra dollars and get the PPG and tell him not to add any clear, again thanks for all the info and help!

Yea I have seen alot of his work, and its not show quality, but very nice for a street car. I am not sure why he likes single stage so much, maybe cause it is less work. He likes to lay 4 or 5 coats with the single stage then mix in some clear at the end and shoot one more coat. I have seen the PPG concept on some cars over on classiczcar.com and it looks real good, I guess I will go with it, I have heard nothing great about Nason.

Hi guys I did a search on this and didnt come up with much. Basically the guy that is painting my car wants to use the Nason single stage. Nason is made by DuPont and i hear its there cheap stuff. I personally dont care if he wants to use single stage becuase he is giving me a great deal. Anyways is nason worth a flip? I want to use PPG Concept because it is a single stage and is real nice. Anyone used nason or PPG Concept? Pros, con of each?

I have searched around and haven't found this on here. My question is does anyone make a master bolt/screw kit for the Z cars? While tearing mine apart I am sure I have lost fender, cowl, hatch....etc bolts. My plan was to just go down to the hardware store and buy a big bag of stainless steel bolts in various sizes that i think would work. Kind of a trial and error type thing. I was noticing that alot of the bolts on the car were 12mm, like the hood, fender, and hatch bolts. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

This guy does have a point. If you would read some of his work you might could uderstand it better. I dont know if he should have used the word "Nazis" though. Basically he is saying the entire world economy revolves around American and people (Arabs in general) are tired of it. Are we ignorant enough to think the US was attacked because Arabs "hate our culture"??? Please there are far deeper reasons than that.

Tim I wanted to make that comment also, but was afraid how you older guys would perceive it, since I am 18 and all I thought you would think I was immature. But Tim you have opened the door! jk. But yes I would dong her also.

I agree, 10k is a little stiff, and no one ever gets what they put into a car. I bought a jeep 4k once and spent another 4k lifting it, 35 inch tires, the works. I could only sell it for 4500. That is why I am not selling my Z becuase i have WAY to much money in it and will never get anything back.

I am going to have to agree with Tim, but I have seen some with rims on them that look pretty sweet. But after all the plusses you metioned, it dosent sound to bad, plus Toyotas last forever.

that is very weird indeed, i just got my quarter class out today myself, i think mine said, "keep spending more money on me"

DCZ, I am located three hours to the west of you. My mechanic is actually located in Rutherfordton NC. I am going down there this week to pic up some fiberglass fenders I bought from him. What exactly do you need? I am willing to pick it up.
-
Stony, are you still going to be running an RB? I saw you sold that one, i wasnt sure what you were running now.
-
Jayru, where are you located? My mechanic has about 100 first gen Z cars at his shop. I am sure he will sell you one with rusty pans or a bad motor for nothing.
-
I use to have an 1988 944, bought it off the original owner, guards red, black leather. Anyways I agree on the clutch thing, but that car would handle like none other, but I prefer my Z anyday. A power steering pump on my 944 was $650.!!!!!

The steel quarter panels are still made, www.tabcobodyparts.com
