  1. Hey not sure to post this in buy sell trade or here but im looking for the top half stock r33 intake manifold.
  2. I have a few of their stuff for my swap. Motor mounts, pan, top mount header , and down pipe. When I get home from work I can take a bunch of detailed pics of everything for you guys. And you can decide for yourselfs.
  3. Rawbrokage has everything you need. I ordered a oil cooler and a filter sandwich plate with thermostat but right now everything is on back order. Im not so sure on the filter relocate kit.
  4. ok so i found a pic on line pointing me in the right direction i hope. the pic shows a rb30 block with the same holes as my rb25 block. im assuming that my holes are for the turbo feed? which hole goes to what?
  5. Hey guys i was looking over my rb25det motor today and noticed a threaded hole or ports under the exhaust manifold almost in line with the larger row of freeze plugs. Looks to have a copper crush washer? any i deas?? i dont know what to search for. is their a sensor in missing or an oil line that treads in?

  8. Well the mods I listed above are my power goals whatever they give me is what I want. I don't know what they are ,but im guessing somewhere in the 400 hp range? I know that the turbo will be a big deciding factor then the waste gate size, injector size, and tune will all play a part. I was just wondering a rough estimate in power someone hast to have a setup close to what I mentioned. I already have a rust free 72 240z, motor mounts, oil pan, tranny, tranny mounts, new gasket kit , timing belt. pullies. All I need is the clutch then I can drop it in. I just want to hear it run and maybe take it around the block once before I redo the brakes, diff and suspension. one thing at a time you know. We only have 3- 4 months of summer here and it goes fast lol. Im down for suggestions thats why I posted. What turbo do you have is it water cooled?
  9. Hey guys im building a rb25det series 2 motor. Im not sure what kind if power to expect with bolt ons. Im not really going for a certain amount of hp, but I do want to add a few bolt ons to make my build a little easier and in my opinion look better. If there is a link to a post that would be awesome but I didn't see anything and still searching. This is what I have so far Rb25det series 2 stock internals Cx Header 3 inch dp and exhaust Power fc d jetro Wiring specialist harness This is what I need still Clutch im probably going to go with a spec stage 3 im not 100% sure yet Greddy style intake or re route the stock upper manifold Tial 38mm waste gate still doing research on this Synapses blow off valve Bosch 044 fuel pump I read they are more reliable then the walbro?? New injectors not sure what size yet with my future setup Gtx3071 or gtx3076 I spoke to a guy at a shop and he was saying the the 3071 would be a little small but I thought I read it was a good fit. This car will be daily driver and some auto x. With boost turned down and. Given the parts listed above what kind of power am I looking at. Is anyone running something similar to what I listed
  10. So is it the norm to put only an exhaust cam in and not an intake as well? Also how can I tell if its really an exhaust cam?
  11. Hey so I bought a rb25det s2 and it came with one hks cam, and some older cam gears that are non adjustable. It still in the hks box and it has instructions but they are in japanese. The po said that it was a exhaust cam. Why would you only install one cam? Also the only thing marked on this thing is a #1 stamped in the center of the cam and a # a256g on one of the ends. I have googled this with no results any help would be sweet.
  12. Hey guys I need some rims for my 240z, And have it narrowed down to the te37v 17x10 -20 rear and 17x9.5 -15 front. Or the rbr 17x9.5 -19. Front and rear. I just got some flares that I need to fill about the same distance as the zg flares. From what I have seen on the site and google. the rbr fills the zg fares nicely and stick out of the stock fender about 2 inches if im correct right?? Has anyone mounted the te37v in the size I im looking at yet?? And is the offset going to be that much of a difference from the rbr?

The definition of a manifold is " a component of the exhaust system consisting in a collection of tubes, usually of cast iron, that channel the exhaust gasses from the cylinders of the engine to the rest of the exhaust system". The dictionary term for header refers back to exhaust manifold in relation to automotive. Basically its different names for the same thing. Most people put it this way. stock = manifold aftermarket = header.
  14. Yeah I have been reading alot about them not the best stuff I did say cheep, but it sounds like they are made in the US (LA) and its cool to have one more company at least trying to make things easier and more plentiful for rb s30 swaps.
  15. Are the upper stock plentnums swappable on a rb25 and a neo? I can't find a pic or a yes or no anywhere. If so cool if not why not? What does not line up bolts or runners.

  17. So searching the web for a cheep rb25 turbo manifold I discovered that cxracing has build a new header just for a rb25 into s30 swap. Also they are planing on manufacturing a complete swap in kit.   19. hey so i called up stainless headers and they have a flange all cut out and ready for a skyline head and can do a custom header for 1500.00. thats way more then i would like to pay for something right now but after looking around at other stuff on the web i think i would go their route.i think they have the art down. the guy said to make a custon header for my application he would send me a flange for my head and a mock up kit then i would need to send the mock up back then they could build my header exactly how i wanted it. only a few problems with this are one. i live in alaska and shipping is stupid expensive for back and forth travel and two. my motor is not in my z so it cant be mocked up. now it sounds like these ebay headers work but the craftsmanship is hit or miss and it sounds like its mostly a misses not to mention that its not build for our cars in the first place. im new on this site sorta and im not exactly sure on how it all works but is anybody interested in a another group buy for a super nice rb header??? http://www.stainlessheaders.com
  20. Yeah from what I read a gt or gtx3076 sounds good but I still need to do a little reading on it first. I think I want ball bearing but I need more details on them im new to turbo applications. I like the v flange idea but im still not sure what the limits are on that yet. Has anyone felt with stainlesssteelheaders.com? Im going to call them tomorrow when they open up and see what they say about it.

  22. Wow thanks rs speed and stony that's what I was looking for. I don't know why I didn't think of searching for exhaust manifold also. So what design works best? Should I be searching for equal length 3 2 1+ style or does on not matter with a turbo application?

  25. Hey guys i have been searching google for rb25det header info for a few days now. I found a lot of ebay stuff and some really nice expensive ones, but nobody says anything about fitting in a datsun 240z mostly 240sx stuff. i don't care who makes the header i just want to know which ones fit nicely. What do you guys used and your advice and could you provide some pics of your setup thanks.
