    Hey I was just wondering what makes Z cars so good on windy roads? what is it about their handling that makes them be able to handle corners as well as they do? Is it their suspension?

    but i'd have to buy a multimeter? What if it's not getting a signal? is it the injector that's bad or something electrical

    ok. I'm guessing the 2nd option (taking each of them out and see if they spray) is easier so i'll do that. So I don't have to take the whole fuel line off get off an injector?

    My 1978 280z will not start and I've narrowed it down to a fuel issue. I replaced the pump, cleaned the tank, and pretty much everything else. I have 36 psi of fuel pressure. So I'm pretty sure it's the injectos. Should i take them out and look at them? How do I know if there bad?

    No I just bought a new pump about a month ago. I already flushed the tank and had it cleaned. I took the hose to my local auto store. they didn't have a filter that fit it. Are there any websites where I could find one?

    Thats the thing. I would love to replace the hose but the fuel pump is made for a 1/2 hose. Is that the case for your pump too?

    Ok thanks guys. But I'm still not sure how to install the g3 filter if it is 3/8ths and the hose on the tank side is 1/2. Also the end of the fuel pump that's pointing away from the engine is 1/2". So is there a fuel filter of that brand that has 1/2" ends?

    Hey guys I'm being told that I have to put a filter in between the tank and fuel pump. Are there any special ways to install this? or do I just cut the fuel line in half and install the pump. Also the line that goes from the tank to the pump is a half inch. Arent filters supposed to be fitted by a 3/8th inch fuel line? Any advice? Thanks

    Im removing the fuel pump in my 78 280z. Ive removed all the fuel lines and loosened the clamps. The FSM says to disconnect the fuel pump harness connector. It says to roll back carpet behind the seat (which i did) and to disconnect the wiring. How do you do this? I see two different sets of wires. Im guessing one set to + and one to -. But how do i disconnect them?? Thank you

    So i dropped the fuel tank in my 78 280z. Had it cleaned and lined. I shot compressed air through the fuel lines to get all the junk out. (which i think i did: no fuel or anything comes out of the line, just air) I need a new fuel pump, which i have already bought. So my question is: What do i do now? do I unhook some fuel lines and clean them more? Do i just go right ahead and replace the pump and put the tank back on? Thanks guys, Schoenmann12

    Hey guys So I just dropped my fuel tank in my 1978 280z. I had to do this because i'm replacing the fuel pump and the car has sat with gas in it for 10 years. I poured some of the fuel out of the tank to see what it looked like. It was a mixture of rust, dirt, and I don't even know what else. My point is that it didn't look like gas. My question is about the fuel lines. Could they be clogged? How do I check for this? How do I fix it? Thanks Schoenmann12

    I just bought a fuel pressure gauge to test the pressure for my 78 280z. I thought it would be just a gauge that you replaced the fuel filter with. It turns out that it's a bunch of hoses and drainers that I can't figure out. Did I buy the wrong type of gauge or do I have to install all of it? Can't I just install a gauge where the fuel filter is? The one I have says to look for the fuel pressure test port.
