I got everything wired up on my megasquirt last night except the iat sensor, coolant sensor, fuel pump wire b/c i am not using it and the o2 sensor. I wired up one injector to see if things were working properly but it seems they aren't. I have a diy autotune ms and harness. I wired the harness as it shows on the ms website and i wired up the 83zxt distributor as in Moby's install guide. I cannot connect to the megasquirt, no lights come on the ms when I turn the motor over, the coil gets kinda hot after about 2 min of trying things out and the sparkplugs are not getting fire. I was not trying to get the motor to turn over, I just wanted to see if things were working properly but it seems they aren't.

When I do that it says: Another copy of mega tune is already running. Terminating now. What am I doing wrong now?

I tried to open Moby's map of the stock L28ET MS&S after downloading it, but it asks for a project, but it doesn't place any projects in the box to choose from. If you don't choose a project it just closes the window.

Proxlamus, what FPR do you reccomend? A stock one or an adjustable unit? I don't mean to highjack this thread at all. I have been reading all the new posts on it because I am about to go megasquirt on my 76 turbo and it has been very informative.

Thanks for your help guys. Dragoontwo, have you come across an L engine already using EDIS? I looked on msefi.com but my I couldn't find any valuable info on it.

I was thinking of going with megasquirt EDIS so I would like to know if the L series are even fire engines, meaning that they fire every 120 degrees. This would allow me to use the EDIS. And yes I have already searched the forum.

It looks like a thunderbird platform, but the Corvette flags on the nose confues me.
