  15. a friend of mine works at autozone, and i can say that it is true that most of the time they dont notice that you are turning in a diff part as a core. the part couldve been upgraded as years gone by, or had a recall and changed its design etc. they probably wont say anthing if you give them your z calipers as a core. and hey its worth a shot. also heres a cool tip: if you buy somthing with lifetime warranty or say 3 year warranty (ie rotors) you can get a new set AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT as long as you have a core. think about it... spare batteries, spare rotors, spare ANYTHING under lifetime as long as you have a core to turn in. source the cores from a JY and stock up on NEW parts... at JY prices.
  16. i like what you did to your rear tail lights... coloring the bar inbetween black.... it looks very tasteful imo. i never liked that piece chrome.
  17. BUMP... this is the info i need! does anyone have a copy of this thread still? thanks EDIT: searched again and found it... ooops. hehe.
  18. Thanks for the reply! thats very useful info for me, i kind of have an idea of what to talk to dana about now. Hopefully some other people could chime in with thier setups before i make this big investment.. greatly appreciated
  19. Im sending out my harness and ecu to be edited. I am wondering what are the common things you have deleted from your ecu/ harness... i want no AC, no smog. very basic bare bones. As simple as possible. I have heard it called "stand alone". I emailed lt1350.com and they said it would be "a four wire set up" but i dont know what 4 wires they speak of... a little advice before i spend 500 bucks? my set up: 95 lt1 ecu auto, 96 harness, 95 alum head lt1, wc t5. i will eventually get a TunerCat. thanks.
