Congrads.. Easy 10 second runs. Those air temps really make a difference. I had a little time at the track saturday myself and made 2 passes with a 2step and droop limiters, both installed recently. I should of tried one change at a time to better understand what was going on but decided otherwise. My 60ft times fell to 1.798 & 1.672 from a previous low 1.5s and a best of 1.492. My best guess is restricting the front end so much keeps the engine from spinning up as fast ???hints more torque converter!

Going to Dyno -any pointers?

I think you hit on most of it. + no cats and a little better air intake filtering. My final guess came from throwing darts at a dyno chart. -

Maybe a little generous. 375 mustang dyno / 395 dyno jet as it is. -
If you go with a 5.3L , pump gas, the 112 would be ok and are much easier on the wallet (used). I originally had this kit on my 5.3 silverado with an LS6 cam/ intake kit and exhaust improvements. With a 3.4 pulley,7 lbs boost, it made 400 rwhp on a dynojet ( a bit over rated ). Try to find a low profile kit /corvette/ universal / that will allow optimum hood clearance as the truck kits stick up to high for a stock Z hood . If a 3"+ cowl hood is ok the more abundant taller truck kits will fit just fine without relocating the engine. The traction issues, in my opinion, are something that can be improved with the IRS enough to enjoy a supercharger on a Z and have the fuel mileage, drivability and throttle response for a street car like no other!

I have some new, some rebuilt and some used parts. My project has past the 20k mark. The blower kit I bought new for $6500 comes complete tune & all but depending on what LS vehicle you install it on will likely need misc changes( they are known to last a long time, contact Magnuson ). / LS6 cam / 4L80E / roughly 2000 stall / Competition Engineers rear suspension.

Beyond the traction trouble that your going to have with a supercharger, they are great fun! The power is right off idle. If you decide to buy one and your looking for 550+ FWHP , go for the 119 or the 2300 depending on your expectations. The heat soak in 112 happens pretty fast when you start changing pullys. The other + side in my opinion is you don't necessarily need a big cam. If I could find some one to swop my 112 for a 2300, or there abouts, I'd do it in a hart beat. The little maggie is just to small for a 6.L engine.

Getting LS2 240z ready to go to track

Turbo craving? -
No. I haven't seen any adds on the fuel perfume. Think I would go for barbecue rib flavor ! Maybe distract them just enough. It sounded like you were getting pretty consistent in your previous races. How"s your reaction time? Ya it was interesting loosing sight of the pavement. When I get the car dialed in there will probably be less of that. It was fun though! The 2 step is next.

Getting LS2 240z ready to go to track

I heard that! but I respect your privacy. Just a minute I need to leave this post..............Good luck with the racing this weekend. We want to see a 10.99 . I'll leave you with one other idea. "TURBOLAX". -
Not sure. It was grudge fest and most of the serious racers opted to keep there times private and there hoods closed. He did say it was a small block. As said previously I noticed the smell of alcohol. My guess is he had some kind of power adder because of the way he left the line off idle and the long stretch between the 1-2 shift.

Vegas odds favor 2475lb, less driver -
Made it to sacramento raceway saturday for the street car grudge fest. It was a great turn out with a wide variety of cars from 8 to 20 seconds. We watch through most of the event but did get 3 passes on the loosest rebound setting and 1 pass on the firmest. Both the passes where I managed to get the RPM's up and kept the car in place netted quite a bit of front end lift (loosest setting) but did nothing to improve my 60ft - 1.52/1.57 - . The last run I decided to tighten the shocks to the firmest setting and positioned myself with a late comer, another Z car with a suspicious smell of alcohol emitting from the back of his car. I had a brief moment before moving in position to ask him what he was running and all he offered was "small block chevy". As it turned out I was completely out of my league. He ran to about half track and then shut down with a 1.33 60ft/5.82 half track and I believe he had to pull out of it because he was going skyword . Looking over at him I thought I was dragging a boat anchor LOL. My car, on the firmest setting was not a good representation 1.53 60ft, I didn't get the RPM's up ," I know excuse excuse etc excuse ". O'well Another day more testing to come. All in all great fun for the night. My first impression of these strut inserts is, I think there great but I'm likely going to need some changes to my car to be consistent and that much faster. Mainly tranbrake a little higher stall and a 2 step. AND IF THAT DON'T WORK I'M GONNA SLAM MY 2 STAGE NITROUS BACK ON THE CAR AND SWITCH OVER TO E85!
